Presentation at the 1st UK International Eel Science Symposium
I made a presentation on “Recruitment mechanism of Anguilla japonica glass eels implied by 50-year catch and oceanographic data and model” at the 1st UK International Eel Science Symposium in London.
From discussion with eel scientists, the recruitment mechanisms of glass eels from offshore waters seem to be still unknown for all three species (European, American, and Japanese eels).
